Other Meetings of Interest
Vascular Research Initiatives Conference
May 13, 2026, All Day
Location: 900 Bellevue Way NE | Hyatt Regency Bellevue, Bellevue, WA
Hosted by: Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) and the SVS Foundation (SVSF)
The Vascular Research Initiatives Conference (VRIC), hosted by the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) and the SVS Foundation (SVSF), is where basic science and translational vascular research take center stage. Share your discoveries with vascular surgeons, biologists, trainees and other researchers — and make new connections that advance vascular science and lead to the next breakthrough in patient care.
VRIC is one of the only meetings dedicated to vascular surgeon-scientists and their research partners. It offers a uniquely supportive platform for investigators at all stages of their careers. Whether you’re an established leader, a post-doctoral researcher or a trainee, VRIC provides the visibility, feedback and professional connections to help your research make an impact.
The VRIC is a one-day session preceding Vascular Discovery: From Genes to Medicine Scientific Sessions, also held at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. The SVS and SVSF has teamed up with AHA to offer these two exclusive meetings in the same location and timeframe to help save attendees on travel costs; however, please note the VRIC and Vascular Discovery are two separate conferences with separate registration fees.
